supersize saigon presents: P.K.14 @ Vasco’s w/ superkid in the blue room

UPDATE AS OF MAY 24TH: P.K.14 HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LICENSING ISSUES. DJs JayCeeOh, Dangle, Superkid and Jordan will still be playing and entrance will be free.

Just when you thought Supersize Saigon couldn’t possibly get any bigger, the live music-cum-DJ show returns on Thursday May 26 with two huge names, all supported by a mixture of the very best in local and overseas talent.
Headlining the main room will be the godfathers of Chinese rock, P.K.14, who are returning to Vietnam for what is anticipated to be their triumphant second show. Acclaimed the world over by the likes of Time Magazine and Rolling Stone, this will be P.K.14’s only other show in Vietnam before they headline the CAMA International Music Festival in Hanoi.
And taking over the decks in the Blue Room will be internationally acclaimed JayCeeOh whose top notch turntablism and selecting skills have seen him perform alongside the likes of Kanye West, Wu-Tang Clan and RJD2.
Support acts will include Bad Neighbor, playing a balls-to-the-wall punk-rock set in the yellow room, and the eclectically varied beat-driven sounds of Superkid (Everyone’s A DJ), Jordan Howard and Dangle in the Blue Room. Expect everything from hip-hop and Baltimore club to electro-clash and Latin freestyle.
Tickets are VND150K (including a free Jim Beam & Cola) and can be purchased in advance by calling Kim Vy on 01698 485025 or by going to one of the following venues:
Vasco’s (74/7D Hai Ba Trung, Q1)
Latin Café (17 Dong Du, Q1)
Gringo’s (38 Ton That Thiep, Q1)

Doors open at 9pm and the show goes on until late at Vasco’s, 74/7D Hai Ba Trung, Q1, Ho Chi Minh City. Supersize Saigon is presented by Jim Beam & Cola, Caravelle Hotel, RockFanClub, Vasco’s and The Word
